Transit of Venus and Advance Bass

Eli and Lacy came down to Provo to catch a break in the clouds. Eli just bought a huge telescope to watch the transit of Venus. We were lucky Provo was the sunny spot because then we got to see it too!

A couple of weeks ago, John and I went up to SLC to see a concert for Advance Bass. John loves going to concerts and we had never been to one together! Advance Bass is the same guy (with a new name) of one of John’s favorite bands: Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. He had never seem him under his new band name and was so excited to attend.

The concert was really great and was only slightly marred by a really loud drunk girl in the audience.  Eric, one of John’s best friends, joined us for the concert.
